Co-host of Everyday Food and Everyday Baking on PBS, John has been a Martha Stewart staffer since the mid-1990s, working primarily in the kitchens of the television studio and contributing food ideas to Martha's many magazines as an editor. In recent years, John has opened his own bakery: The SoNo Baking Company and Cafe in South Norwalk, Connecticut. Offering an incredible array of breads, cakes, pastries and pies, the bakery has been a huge success, offering onsite dining as well as catering services.

John Barricelli's 27 years of professional cooking began at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, where he perfected culinary talents handed down by his great grandfather — owner of a successful bakery in Brooklyn. John has worked at restaurants such as The River Café in Brooklyn and the Four Seasons Restaurant in Manhattan. Prior to that, he owned and operated Cousin John's Café and Bakery in New York City for 12 years. In Spring 2005, John opened SoNo Baking Company and Café in South Norwalk, CT. John's delicious desserts have been featured on Martha Stewart Living television and in the company's magazines. As Senior Food Editor, he now shares recipes and tips on how to make sweets and treats in the pages of Martha Stewart Living and Everyday Food.
